Taltosh

Taltosh is the second son of the proud Murashkin family of Kislev. His elder brother spent much of his time worrying about his inheritance, paranoid that Taltosh would have him killed and take it from him. When Taltosh joined the armies of Tzarina Katarin as a Captain in the campaign against the Horde of Archaon, his brother saw the perfect chance to ensure his own safety. He bribed Taltosh's Sergeants into mutiny, later framing Taltosh for their crimes. On the eve of his return home, Taltosh was arrested, found guilty, and sentenced to exile for those crimes. When he called out for his brother to speak for his good name, noone came. As he was escorted to the borders, a final message was brought to him by one of his former Sergeants. He told Taltosh that his brother was behind the mutiny, that he had bribed each soldier to commit their crimes, and was hoping for Taltosh to be executed.
Taltosh said to the man, "Tell each of them that I will send no man to kill them in the night, that their families will be safe, that they should not fear the dark. Then, tell them to make ready for my return, when I will make each of them admit their betrayal, and relieve them of their dishonor and their heads."
