Dagorhir is an unmatched medieval experience. It is a gigantic game of combat, with local events drawing anywhere from 10 to over 100 fully costumed fighters. Add to that the yearly events like Badon Hill and Ragnarok, which draw hundreds or (in the case of Ragnarok) well over 1000 participants, complete with shops, revels, and fighting.
Fighters take on the persona of any ancient or fantasy realm. Everything from Orcish marauders to the Roman Legion clash on the battlefield wielding a variety of weapons, shields, armor, and fantastic costumes.
Weapons are all made to be as safe as possible, while still looking like weapons of the era. They're lightweight, and made from PVC pipe, rubber cement, and foam. Each is then tested for safety before each day's worth of battles.
Dagorhir is cheap, easy, safe, and a lot of fun.
And don't forget Ragnarok, the annual week-long campout yielding over 1000 fighters!
Browse our site, and the Dagorhir national site.
You just may like what you see.
